It turns out the $2 billion Las Vegas Sphere was never meant to be a one-off. Sphere Entertainment has announced that it’s working with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism to build another one.
Although an exact location and timeline weren’t revealed, Abu Dhabi’s Sphere will be as large as the Vegas one, which is wrapped in a 580,000-square-foot screen.
Anbernic’s clamshell RG35XXSP may soon be facing some competition. Although a launch date for the Miyoo Flip still hasn’t been announced, the company revealed the folding screen handheld’s various colorways, including a version that matches the Super Nintendo. Unlike Anbernic’s clamshell, the Miyoo Flip will include a pair of joysticks, potentially making it a better option for playing 3D games.
Rolling Square’s new inCharge XS cable features double-headed connectors on either end making it compatible with devices that charge or sync over USB-C, USB-A, or Apple’s Lightning port. It’s only 6.1-inches long but supports charging speeds up to 240W and is available now for $29.90, with a temporary discount to $25 for its launch.
Wanting to put its internals on display, YouTube’s Phone Repair Guru stripped an iPhone 16 Pro’s back panel down to the glass using a surprisingly complicated process. Gallium was even used to remove a thin layer of aluminum as the two metals react to create a soft alloy. The results look great, but maybe don’t try this mod at home.
